 MY DREAM CITY

Content

  Our students are citizens and builders of Tomorrow. With our project we aim to encourage our students to share their dream city with us and support their imagination. We also plan to improve  English language skills and digital competence of our students.

Aims 

1. To encourage our students to create their dream city as the builders of tomorrow 

2. To support imagination of our students 

2. To improve English language skills of our students. 

3. To develop digital competence of our students. 

5. To improve collaboration among the students from different European countries  

Work Process  

February 

1. Students will introduce themselves and it will be recorded by the teachers 

2. Project themed bulletin boards will be created in partner schools for the visibility of the project. 

3. Each partner school will create two posters. Then the project poster will be chosen by the students through online voting. 

3. Each partner school will create two logos. Then the project logo will be chosen by the students through online voting. 

4. Each school will offer two names for the dream city. The name will be chosen by the students through voting.

March 

1. We will start to create our online book which is the final product of our project. In march students will write sentences about the features of their dream city (common product) 

2. Each partner school will create two slogans. Then the project slogan will be chosen by the students through online voting. 

3. Common project poem will be created by the mixed country teams.  The initials of the lines in this acrostic poem will form the project slogan( team work- common product) 

4.  Each partner school will create an online game or exercise on  "Bamboozle" by using words for  public transportation and buildings like hospital, library, shopping center  etc. it will be played by the other partner students.

April 

1.  The letters of each word in the project slogan will be designed by the student teams. Each mixed country team will take care of a word( team work-common product) 

2. Each partner school will create an online game or exercise on  "Kahoot" by using words for  public transportation and buildings like hospital, library, shopping center  etc. it will be played by the other partner students. 

3. Our students will keep writing for the online book. They will describe the facilities of their dream city and what the citizens can do in it 

4. Our students will create a mind map by writing what comes to their mind about their dream city ( common product) 

5. Each partner school will create three  " My dream city" themed word clouds. Then a photo collage will be created with them. (collaborative work) 

May 

1. Students will create the models for their dream city. 

2.  Our students will create their id cards as the citizens of their dream city on Canva. The photos on the idea cards will be their avatars and the full names of our students will not be used for their privacy. 

3. Project poster puzzle will be played by the students 

4. The students from the partner schools will draw "My dream city" pictures. Then  an online exhibition will be created with these pictures ( online exhibition- collaborative work) 

5. Online common book will be completed. The pictures from other activities will be added to it as well ( common product- Final product) 

Expected results 

1. It will encourage our students to create their dream city as the builders of tomorrow

6. Posters, logos, slogan, project bulletin boards, word clouds, project poem, My dream city models, online exhibition, My dream city drawings, online games, mind map, project puzzle, online book ....
