 3D CITY MODELS

I divided the children into groups of 4-6 and let them exercise their creativity. They imagined what their city would look like, then created it out of various recyclable materials (milk cartons, cardboard) and other objects. They glued, painted and named the buildings. At the end, students had to present their city to their classmates, using the new vocabulary they had learned (names of buildings, places, means of transportation). I think this was the most fun activity of the project for them.

These are some of the 3D models my students created for the model city. They imagined colourful cities with clean and safe streets, and many useful buildings.
